ABOUT US

Crevolution is a robotics team from Sterling Heights, Michigan, that is composed of students from the Utica Community Schools District. Each year, we build a robot to compete in a game designed by the FIRST organization, and have a lot of fun doing so.


ABOUT THE SUB-TEAMS

Build Lead: Olivia Clark

During build season, Build is responsible for:

  • Prototyping
  • Building schematics from Design
  • Building the practice field
  • Taking care of our trailer

During off season, Build is responsible for:

Design Lead: Kevin Ng

During build season, Design is responsible for:

  • Making schematics for Build

During off season, Design is responsible for:

  • Training new members with CAD*
  • * A program we use to work with 3D models

Systems & Controls Lead: Joseph Tidrow

During build season, Systems & Controls is responsable for:

  • Organizing and wiring the robot

During off season, Systems & Controls is responsible for:

  • Training new members

Business Lead: Elizabeth Rourke

During build season, Business is responsible for:

  • Writing up essays
  • Recording the documentations

During off season, Business is responsible for:

  • Training new members
  • Updating the roster
  • Trying new PR projects

Marketing Lead: Kaitlyn Dondonan

During build season, Marketing is responsible for:

  • Vectorizing sponsorship logos
  • Designing Crevolution t-shirts
  • Creating the robot logo

During off season, Marketing is responsible for:

  • Training new members to vectorize and digital design

Outreach Lead: Katelyn Brodsky

During build season, Outreach is responsible for:

  • Working on the Chairmans Award
  • Planning community events
  • Overseeing external communications

During off season, Outreach is responsible for:

  • Training new members in planning events and working with professional businesses or organizations
  • Planning more events
  • Working on new PR projects

Robot Programming Lead: Satchit Kulkarni

During build season, Robot Programming is responsible for:

  • Programming the robot to manuver with our drivers and during autonomous periods
  • Programming the robot to drive smoothly

During off season, Robot Programming is responsible for:

  • Training new members how to write basic code and program the robot's movements

Website Development Lead: Brian Mackintosh

During build season, Website Development is responsible for:

  • Updating our sponsor list
  • Programming the website to run smoother and look better
  • Keeping up with current events

During off season, Website Development is responsible for:

  • Teaching new members the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript with constant practice on different aspects of the website
