ABOUT US

Crevolution is a robotics team from Sterling Heights, Michigan, that is composed of students from the Utica Community Schools District. Each year, we build a robot to compete in a game designed by FIRST , and have a lot of fun doing so.



ABOUT THE SUB-TEAMS


Team Captain: Adeline Paul

The team captain is responsible for:

  • Bridging communication between subteams
  • Encouraging collaboration between members
  • Maintaining schedule for training and build season
  • Communications to families and community

Build Lead: Niken Patel

During build season, Build is responsible for:

  • Prototyping
  • Building schematics from Design
  • Building the practice field
  • Taking care of our trailer

During off season, Build is responsible for:

Design Lead: Colin Deal

During build season, Design is responsible for:

  • Making schematics for Build
  • Simulating forces, creating automated manufacturing files

During off season, Design is responsible for:

  • Training new members with CAD

Systems & Controls Lead: Nick Tornopilsky

  • Organizing and wiring the robot

Business Lead: Fynn Stover

Marketing Lead: Cole Kosecki

During build season, Marketing is responsible for:

  • Vectorizing sponsorship logos
  • Designing Crevolution t-shirts
  • Creating the robot logo

During off season, Marketing is responsible for:

  • Training new members to vectorize and digital design

Outreach Lead: Anthony Le

During build season, Outreach is responsible for:

  • Working on the Chairmans Award
  • Planning community events
  • Overseeing external communications

During off season, Outreach is responsible for:

  • Training new members in planning events and working with professional businesses or organizations
  • Planning more events
  • Working on new PR projects

Robot Programming Lead: Edward Lei

During build season, Robot Programming is responsible for:

  • Programming the robot to manuver with our drivers and during autonomous periods
  • Programming the robot to drive smoothly

During off season, Robot Programming is responsible for:

  • Training new members how to write basic code and program the robot's movements

App Development Lead: Ava Mortimore

During build season, App Development is responsible for:

  • Editing the app to match this year's game

During off season, App Development is responsible for:

  • Teaching new members how to program apps

Website Development Lead: Katelyn Hermiz

During build season, Website Development is responsible for:

  • Updating our sponsor list
  • Programming the website to run smoother and look better
  • Keeping up with current events

During off season, Website Development is responsible for:

  • Teaching new members the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript with constant practice on different aspects of the website
